Seeking Perfection

If I were to die soon, I can say I've lived a happy life. There are a lot of things I dreamed of when I was younger, things I genuinely believed I would achieve eventually. A wife, children, a fancy house, expensive vacations. All kind of sexual experiences. A deep understanding of life, science, emotions, politics.

I've always seeked perfection. Completion. The first time I realized we weren't built for perfection was Skyrim. I soon realized you couldn't 100% every skill tree and I was dumbfounded.

"Why?!"
It's just not possible.
"Why not, you stupid bastard?"

You'll never be a great artist, and a great musician, and a great scientist, and have the perfect love story, and have the perfect family. You have to pick a passion, and work hard to be the best you possibly can.

We've been told to set goals, to follow our dreams, but we should be happy on our way there, not hope to be happy when we get there.
